A federal judge issued a ruling on Wednesday that prevents the Trump administration from deporting the wife and five children of Mohamed Soliman, the Egyptian national facing charges for attacking demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado, using a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails.
This decision to block the deportation of Soliman’s family follows their detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents just one day prior.
The White House’s official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) highlighted the family’s predicament on Tuesday, stating, “THEY COULD BE DEPORTED AS EARLY AS TONIGHT.”
